Today I captured the Holy Grail of photos...wild turkeys on our front lawn! We've seen these birds in our neighbourhood but neither Stef nor I has been able to capture them with the camera until today.
We have seen just about every animal there is out here. We have seen bears, deer, elk, skunks, foxes, coyotes, wolves, fishers, beavers, porcupines, raccoons, merlins, vultures, hawks, osprey, moles, voles, mice, squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, snakes, salamanders, frogs and birds of almost every description...but until today we had never managed to get the turkeys. I guess moose and bobcats are the only missing creatures...for now!
