A big thank you to my parents who braved the cold and brought us groceries yesterday, neither Janet nor myself were in any shape to go grocery shopping, and luckily my parents had our back :) I would be eating cream corn out of a can if it weren't for them (which actually doesn't sound so bad, as anyone who knows how I eat, I *will* eat anything)
Speaking of eating anything; have you ever noticed how Ranch salad dressing can go with anything? I've even gone so far as to add it to a Mr Noodle, to add a "cream sauce" to it's 30 cents of noodle-y-goodness. True story!
I'm looking forward to doing something more fancy than that to the chicken carcass, we're going to make a killer chicken soup/stew! We're being inspired by our favourite cooking shows

All thanks to the Food Network! I don't understand how the "big 3" networks stay alive, they haven't had an original thought in 30 years... Does anyone watch an original show on CBS, ABC, or NBC anymore? I feel like I stay hovering between Discovery Channel, TLC, and Food Network - why would I want anything more?
I expect work is getting tired of me not showing up, and while this morning I thought I was well on my way to recovery, I've had a couple of relapses over the course of the day. This flu is VERY strange. The last time I had a nasty flu I stayed in bed for 48 hours woke up with my eyes sunken into my head, projectile vomited, and that was the end of that, I seem to remember getting better very quickly - this one seems to really hold on!
Okay, back to bed - but first, find some Kleenex... GNight!

I feel your pain brother. Hope this thing doesn't hang on much longer. If everything goes right (a rarity here), I may just go to the range Saturday for my maiden session with the SP101. I'll do it in your honor. ;)
